Queer Cinema Revolt - There are different ways to watch films. We like to break them down. Not just a little bit, but a lot. Partially because, once upon a time, we decided to embrace the fact that we view things critically. Queer Cinema Revolt is an organization for people who do the same type of thing. We are going to watch a film each meeting that deals with any and all of the following issues: gender, gender expression, gender identity, gender as a social construct, sex, sexuality, sexual orientation, sex positivity, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, and heterosexism. After the film is over, it is time for open discussion.

I am looking for a group at Texas University that will be vocal enough with leadership and let it be know that an anti LGBT school like BYU should not be allowed into your conference.
ReplyDeleteDid you know that even if you are a legally married gay person you still can't perform as an athlete and coach at BYU?
Will someone take a stand at Texas?
There are plenty of gay students around the country that hope you will.
Do not allow the profile of BYU get raised with an inclusion to the Big 12.
